Mr. Bruce Rivera

Dear Emerson Middle School Community, Families, Staff, and Students,

I am thrilled and honored to introduce myself as the new Middle School Principal at Emerson Middle School. After nearly two decades of being a Churchill Charger, I am looking forward to building new connections and continuing to build a culture of collaboration and accountability at Emerson Middle School

Throughout my journey in education, I have always held a deep passion for fostering an environment where students can flourish academically, emotionally, and socially. It is my firm belief that a strong partnership between the school, families, staff, and the community plays a crucial role in the success of our students.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University, a Masters of Science from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, and an Administrative Certification from Wayne State University. I believe in lifelong learning and continuously strive to bring the best practices to our school.

I am excited to work alongside our talented and dedicated staff to provide an exceptional learning experience for our students. Together, we will continue to build upon the school's legacy of academic excellence and nurture the unique talents and abilities of every child.

I look forward to meeting each one of you and working collaboratively to create an enriching educational journey for our students and shaping the future of our young learners and making Emerson Middle School a place of pride and success.
